This six-week course is intended as an introduction to Printmaking at CPW. Participants will learn about all aspects of the printmaking workshop including working with the etching press, inks and tools. The course is designed to offer the opportunity for creative exploration and will provide a solid basis for further work in printmaking at Cardiff Print Workshop.
This class will cover:
- Paper making
- Mono-type
- Dry-point
- Chine colle
- Collograph

The Photographic Print
6 x evening classes 7 pm – 9 pm
Mondays 13th September – 18th October 2021
These classes are intended for anyone with a passion for printmaking and photography, areas of image making that have long over lapped and complemented each other. This course will cover two processes that increasingly occupy a permanent place in the contemporary printmaking studio:
- Cyanotype on paper and fabric
- Non-etch photo intaglio
