Photo Intaglio Printmaking
1 day course 10am – 4pm,
Saturday 17th September 2022
This course is intended for anyone with a passion for printmaking and photography, areas of image making that have long overlapped and complemented each other. A basic introduction to photo-etching using photopolymer intaglio techniques. This workshop will cover all the elements needed to produce a successful print using photopolymer plates.

Relief Printing and Reduction Lino
6 weekly evening classes, Tuesdays 7-9pm
20th September – 25th October 2022
The class will look at how linocut is used to create striking graphic effects, taking inspiration from some of the great exponents of the art. We will explore the range of tools and different marks made by each and learn how to print by hand and the presses in the workshop. We will also learn the art of reduction cutting to produce multi-coloured print works.

Finding Form in the Landscape
6 weekly day classes
Wednesdays 2-4pm, 21st September – 26th October 2022
Drawing inspiration from the landscape, discover how to use collograph printmaking techniques to produce beautiful and unexpected prints rich in texture and detail. This course will explore the art of collograph and show how to create expressive and painterly effects, using pattern and texture to construct plates on mount card and tetrapac.
