This one day workshop is an introduction to intaglio printmaking through the techniques of dry point and chine collé. All our courses are restricted to only 7 per class so book soon to avoid disappointment.
Dry point is the etching process of inscribing lines directly into the printing plate. It has been used by many renowned artists down the ages from Rembrandt to Picasso. The workshop will explore the combination of this process with chine collé, the art of collaging delicate papers to add colour and pattern to the final print.
