Our Acrylic Resist Etching Etching Course commences in August. This set of 4 stand alone workshops are suitable for beginners, established printmakers or anyone interested in etching copper, zinc and aluminium in a safe and non-toxic way. No prior knowledge of etching is required. Limited to 6 only per class so book soon.
ARE (acrylic resist etching) techniques that are easy and safe to use both in the workshop and in your own studios. This summer etching course will be an expansive approach to etching allowing you to continue to develop and work plates between sessions. They are suitable for all levels of ability from beginners to established printmakers with no prior knowledge of etching required. All materials are included except extra for zinc and copper plates.

Learn how to make creative marks using a variety of tools, using AER (acrylic etching resists) on aluminium and copper plates.
