Reduction Linocut evening class
Tuesdays from 14th January – 18th February 2025, 7pm – 9pm
This 6 week course is suitable for beginners or seasoned printmakers alike. Participants will explore the traditional art of linocut using a range of cutting tools and printing by hand and with the presses in the workshop. Reduction lino is the process of cutting and printing in stages from the same block to produce an edition of multi-coloured original prints. The course provides a broad foundation for working with lino and printing in relief to create striking graphic effects.
