After moving from Scotland to Cardiff a couple of years ago, I became a member of the Cardiff Print Studio, having thoroughly enjoyed participating in the studio’s workshops. Since then, I’ve been exploring a wide variety of printmaking techniques, including monoprint, drypoint etching, and linocut, each offering different opportunities for expression and creativity.
My inspiration is deeply rooted in the natural world, particularly in the seas, lakes, and the changing rhythms of the seasons and skies. The ebb and flow of nature, combined with memories and imaginative thought processes, shape much of my artistic vision. I am especially drawn to bright, bold colours, which bring my work to life and infuse it with energy
