The class will look at how linocut is used to create striking graphic effects, taking inspiration from some of the great exponents of the art. We will explore the range of tools and different marks made by each and learn how to print by hand and use the presses in the workshop. We will also learn the art of reduction cutting to produce multi coloured prints and the use of coloured tissue paper to make chine colle prints.
